The pixiv & CLIP STUDIO PAINT Global Comic Awards 2025 is now open for submissions starting in January! Simply register on pixiv and submit your work with the participation tag to enter the contest!

Well-known manga publishers worldwide will fully support emerging comic stars from all over the globe!

This competition is divided into Free Category and Theme Category, where works are open for submission!
Exceptional creators will also have the opportunity to debut through editorial support!

Additionally, this year, we are pleased to invite Velinxi and Michelle LAM, active comic artists and illustrators, as judges to participate in the selection process.

[Submission Categories]
If you wish to freely depict the world in your mind, please submit your work to the Free Category.
If you prefer to create based on a specified theme, then please submit to the Theme Category.

The theme for the Theme Category is "Memory" — memories, recollections, data stored in recording devices, etc. Let your imagination soar and create works based on the theme of "Memory."

[Submission Guidelines]

• Submission Format: Please submit your work using the manga feature (vertical scroll comics are also acceptable).
• Content: Only original works are eligible to participate.
• Number of Submissions: You may submit multiple works (but cannot submit the same work multiple times).
• Public Visibility on pixiv: All works must be visible to the public.
• Age Restrictions: Only works suitable for all ages are eligible.
• AI-Generated Works: Not eligible for submission.

 

[Work Specifications]
The following are the requirements for the works:

• Page Count: No restrictions
• Dialogue: All languages are accepted, but English is recommended
• Size: No restrictions
• Format: Works must be in a pixiv-compatible file format (JPG, GIF, PNG)

※ Award winners will be required to submit the original data of their works.
※ Series works can also participate (please tag the first episode if submitting a series).
※ Each user may submit multiple works, but only one work (one episode or series) per post.
※ Works that have been submitted to other contests, projects, or manga awards, or works planned for commercialization, are not eligible for this contest, regardless of whether they win. Please refrain from submitting contest works to other projects or commercializing them during the submission period and until the results are announced.

 

[Offers from Partner Companies]

• During the contest period, participants may receive offers from partner companies for serialized works on their media platforms. If you receive offers from multiple partner companies during the submission period until the results are announced, you should prioritize the offers from the contest's partner companies.
• If you cannot accept offers from the partner companies, please contact pixiv support.
• When contacting, be sure to include your "reply email address," "pen name," and "inquiry details." The subject of the email must be "Regarding GlobalComicAwards2025."

 

[Important Notes]
The following types of works will not be considered for judging:

• Works submitted or edited after the submission period ends.
• Works unrelated to the contest theme (for the Theme Category).
• Works set to private, visible only to friends, or available via a special link on pixiv.
• Works without the specified participation tag.
• Works that have been submitted to other contests.
• Works already published in commercial magazines or planned for future publication.
• Works for which the submitter does not hold the copyright, or works that may infringe third-party copyrights.
• Works that violate pixiv's submission guidelines.
